Basketball jerseys were among the gifts brought to the altar in St. Eunan's Church in Raphoe, in memory of Moycullen's Ciara and Saoirse Bowden, and their mother Úna.
47 year old Una, and her two children, 14 year old Ciara and 9 year old Saoirse, from Gortachalla died in a collision on the N17 outside Claremorris last Tuesday
Their funeral is taking place in Úna's native Donegal this afternoon
Fr. Eamonn Kelly has spoken of the huge loss for their father and husband, David, who works with the UN in Africa:

Galway Chamber CEO Kenny Deery will run as an Independent candidate for Galway City West in the upcoming local elections.
Just last month, he announced he will not be extending his contract with the Chamber, and will finish in the role in early summer.
Kenny has launched his election campaign in Salthill this morning, saying he wants to tackle issues such as transport and housing.
Speaking to Galway Talks, he said change and fresh drive is badly needed at Galway City Council.

City Councillir Niall Mc Nelis has called for the rapid introduction of legislation to curb short-term letting.
He says platforms such as AirBnB are having a major impact on the availability of long-term housing, with hundreds of properties currently being advertised for short-term let in the city
The Labour councillor says the Government believes up to 12,000 homes could be freed up and returned to long term use.
Councillor McNelis says legislation needs to be brought in immediately while we wait for housing supply to increase:

A city councillor says she's "blue in the face" trying to secure new state-of-the-art automated toilets for Ballyloughane in Renmore.
Councillor Terry O Flaherty told a meeting at City Hall that the current ones aren't up to scratch and haven't been for a long time.
While funding has been ringfenced for new automated toilets, she wanted a cast-iron guarantee construction would start this year.
Councillor O' Flaherty says Ballyloughane is now a hugely popular amenity and facilities need to reflect that.

The old courthouse in Tuam could be set to be turned into a community centre.
At a meeting of Tuam councillors, it was confirmed that Galway County Council has issued a dereliction order on the historic building.
But Councillor Joe Sheridan says discussions are ongoing between the OPW and local interest groups.
He says a community centre is one option being seriously looked at.
